Twisted Bayou is a phrase that can be understood in two ways:
As in “I lived along a Twisted Bayou,” a Labyrinth of waterways in the Louisiana’s marshes and swamps;
or
As in “I have been twisted by you,” a person’s life that has been altered by a a sadistic relationship.
